What is an API? What is the difference between native and Premium API?

API is a special interface that allows external services to communicate with each other.  For example, if plugin wants to post something to Facebook it needs to call Facebook’s API and provide all credentials and post info.

Most social media have native APIs. Native means API for Facebook is provided by Facebook itself. You can use our plugin for free with all social media that provide native APIs.
Some social media networks either have no API or their API is closed to public. For some of those networks we developed our own APIs. Those APIs will be installed on your site and plugin will communicate with them the same way as it does with native APIs. Access to those APIs is $49.95/ year,
PS: It gets a bit more complicated with Facebook, LinkedIn and Blogger. All three of them have  native APIs, but those APIs are limited and do not provide all possible abilities. So for those sites we support both limited native APIs and fully featured premium APIs.
