Another Error with Facebook on Premium WordPress Plugin

Beginning this morning, all of my Facebook posts going to Personal Profiles using the session login method threw the following error:

I know this is probably due to another change Facebook has made, but all my posts are down again.

FB Autoposting stopped working completely a few days ago on all our sites.

Connecting works, I get the display of the available pages etc.

I set up a new FB-Account in SNAP but that did not help

Is FB working for the other users?

It’s been a mess for me all day. Sometimes it’ll work, sometimes it won’t. But every time it connects with FB it’s forcing me to login and get a new password on facebook. I’m almost done dealing with facebook in general now.

If you have an issue with Facebook:

** Make sure you have versions: Plugin 4.3.18 and API Version: 4.5.4 (or later).

Let us know when reporting a problem:

1. What type of post are you making (text, image, shared link)?
2. Where are you posting (profile, page, group)?
3. What API are you using (Native, Username/pass, session)?
4. How do you make posts (regular WP “New Post”, Quick Post, Scheduled Post, some automated import)?
5. What do you have in Plugin Settings-> How to make auto-posts (Immediately or WP Cron)?

I’m still having this issue with Facebook. I’m using the Plugin version 4.3.18 and API 4.5.4.

Here are the other details you requested:
1. Image post
2. Profile
3. Session
4. Scheduled Posts
5. WP Cron

1. Have tried text only entry, as well as with image, or link as well
2. Have two sites, one posting to a page, one posting to a profile
3. Session
4. regular new posts
5. wp cron

No matter if I choose session or username/password I’m forced to change my facebook password. I’m not even getting a chance to post.

I can’t edit my post above, but this is the error I see:

FACEBOOK CONNECTION ERROR: User must verify their account on http://www.facebook.com (405)
Auth Error Account #2: Array ( [message] => Unsupported get request. Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api [type] => GraphMethodException [code] => 100 [error_subcode] => 33 [fbtrace_id] => AStbKMB_n_ffSUp7jbJq3FY )

When I go to facebook, I’m prompted to change my password. (or Skip)…

Were you ever able to resolve this? I’m getting the same error on Plugin Version: 4.3.19 [Pro] and API Version: 4.5.11. I have a support ticket in and got 2 responses but nothing that gave me a solution. One said to update to the latest API and the other was asking for more info which I gave yesterday morning.

I’m experiencing this same problem: I was asked opt change my password. Now I get:

I just experienced the same problem as the poster above (dave@davebricker.com) with one of the two Facebook accounts that still worked. I was asked to change the password on the account and after I did that, I get that same “FACEBOOK CONNECTION ERROR” on SNAP when I try to reconnect it using the Password method.

I have gone from having over 30 accounts on SNAP to having only one that’s working. I totally get that Facebook is making changes, but some kind of response would be greatly appreciated.

I’m so sorry for not replying! No, I haven’t been able to resolve it. All but two Facebook accounts connected to SNAP had stopped working (and one of those just stopped working today). The two (or now one) that is working are using the Password method, however, I can’t use that method on any of the other accounts because Facebook consistently locked the account immediately after connecting using the Password method on those accounts.
