The art museum system is giving aesthetic legitimacy to the thick sex doll. In the 2023 special exhibition “The Body of Plenty” of the Vienna Erotic Art Museum, customized chubby sex dolls are juxtaposed with Rubens’ oil paintings, deconstructing the cognitive stereotype of “obesity = not beautiful”.
