Livejournal posting: read more???

Hi guys,

I use SNAP for 6 months and it’s awesome, thanks for you job!

But I am struggling with the following:
I post my travel blog posts to Livejournal.
Recently I decided to post not the whole text but just announcements.
I put %ANNOUNCE% in post text format.
But in LJ these posts reflect as they are just cropped in the middle – no link to original post on website, no “read more”, nothing!

What format shall I use to get the partial text with the link like “read more” leading to my site?
Is there any way to put the post preview photo to that announcement?
And where I can use the recommended tag <!–more–> – in the body post on website or in post format field?
