I have tried setting up Facebook with your NextScripts API for Facebook. It works fine except for one thing. Once a day or so I get this message from Facebook:
It looks like someone tried to log in to your account on 8 May at 18:24 using Chrome for Windows 7. Your account is safe; we just wanted to make sure that it was you who tried to log in from somewhere new.
If you don’t think that this was you, please log in to Facebook so that we can walk you through a few steps to keep your account safe.
Thanks,
The Facebook TeamThen when I check Facebook, I am logged out, which means the API can’t post. Is this normal behaviour with this API? Or am I missing something?
May 24, 2018 at 12:15 am #558867same problem here! So the plugin has to be updated every single day… there has to be a fix for this, but I have many issues with the plugin and I am still waiting for any help since last Friday… The clock is ticking on my yearly purchase and the plugin is not working correctly in many ways for me and it sucks because this plugin used to be awesome 🙁

Question:
I got email from Google (LinkedIn, Facebook) saying “Your account was accessed from some remote location”, was that you?Answer:
All our scripts are installed on your server and your server makes posts to your networks directly. When you make a post your server logins to your account on your behalf and makes a post. The location in the email that your account was accessed from is a location of your server. Please confirm that it was you. It might take several times and then Facebook will stop asking.
May 24, 2018 at 2:03 pm #558879Thanks for the explanation. I removed the API and then added it again a few days later. Since then I have not received a Facebook message, so I guess Facebook has learned what’s going on.
June 3, 2018 at 9:41 pm #558934I bought the plugin 10 days ago and I get on average 2 facebook notifications a day, after that I have to change the password and change the xs on all my sites that have the plugin. It is very annoying to have to keep changing facebook password and xs from all sites 2 times a day. When does it stop?
June 11, 2018 at 4:46 am #558962There is no support for the API or the plugin for over 3 weeks, almost a month, this shit is getting old. I want my money back.
June 12, 2018 at 6:40 pm #558968Your problem has been fixed in the latest API version 4.3.13. Please go to the Help/Support page and click “[Check for API Update]”
