      No matter what I do, even though the length does not exceed 140 characters, I cannot seem to get a comment and a URL into Twitter without getting it cut off with a …

      The link is coming from a custom field linkurl, and the comment is the content. I’ve tried %FULLTEXT% and %ANNOUNCE%.

      Any suggestions?

        So what exactly do you have in the “Message format” field?

          I’ve tried %EXCERPT%, %ANNOUNCE% with the settings set to 120 characters, and %FULLTEXT% with a plugin to count characters. It seems to cut off anyway.
