Participantmore, import buton is just for twitter and Facebook…
Adrian
ParticipantYes, is about comments from autoposts.
If not here, where else to contact suport? 🙂Plugin imports comments only from posts made by the plugin. Are you sure that autoposted posts have comments? If yes, then please contact support directly, we will need to take a look at your site.
Sonny, admin answered you this question at least three times.
There is no general problem with VB (as well as with anything else in the plugin at this time) that affects everyone.
Occasionally some exotic server (wordpress, vBulletin) configurations can break something that hard to predict.
Actually the case from Eric Olsson is a very good example. His vBulletin configuration forbids the word ‘exit’ to be used. We checked several of our vBulletin installation, none of them have a similar problem.
You have the same thing. Your problem is unique to your configuration. As I told you before, we think we know what is wrong with your server and next release will either fix it or at least give you more info about what need to be done.
Please stop creating duplicate threads about that.

ParticipantI never had any problems with vBulletin. I run a free coupons website and each new coupon creates a new thread on my vBulletin board for comments and discussion.
I still can’t setup Stumbleupon though. I am getting “Connection timeout” error.

ParticipantFound the problem with mine. My post contained the word “exit” and for some reason there is an issue on that forum’s vBulletin install that sends you to a 403 Forbidden page if “exit” is in the post you are trying to make (“Exit” is fine though). That was fun, 6500 words in that post, had to find the part that was stopping it.
To find the problem I just copied the text from WordPress and pasted it into the vBulletin new post thing, then clicked Preview Post. So you should be able to find out what is stopping the post from working this way.
Hope this helps others with this problem.

ParticipantI am having the same issue after just having set up SNAP. Test posts go fine, but when trying to post the full text to vBulletin, that is the error I get.

Participantcan confirm the problem and the (temporary, i hope) solution.
i had errors reported, and the solution was to re-authorize FB.
to do that, you’ve to open the FB settings panel, but it never does.
downgrading to 3.0.9 sorts itSonny

ParticipantHello,
I’m having a problem getting my pictures to be auto posted to twitter.
SNAP does a wonderful job auto posting entry and featured image to my facebook page but for
Twitter, it only posts the title and url but no image even though I checked the post image option as well.I checked the log/history and it tells me that
“Could not get image, will post without it-Error”.
I’ve already checked the 1.4 question in FAQ and done everything recommended but it is still not working.
-The image is set. I’ve delayed autoposting for several minutes and it did nothing.
– I made sure there are no protections on image.
-The URLs are defined fully
– I contacted my hosting provider (Bluehost) AND Cloudflare (CDN) because they said they do make a small change on the DNS. Both told me there shouldn’t be any problem. In fact, both representatives told me there aren’t any misconfiguration with the DNS and it wouldn’t make sense for my facebook auto posts to work fine but my twitter to have a probelm with image. Is there any other recommendation you can make for me?
I’m going to try and deactivate cloudflare tonight and I’ll try again. In the mean time if you have any other professional advice regarding this situation it’ll be greatly appreciated.
I’m trying to have images posted to twitter like they do here: http://www.twitter.com/boredpandathank you for your time

ParticipantI have over 50 different VB boards set in the plugin and never got any issues. Plugin just creates nice threads for every post I make.
The most common reason for this is the amount of memory allowed for PHP on your server. Please check and make sure it’s not 32M or less. You need at least 64M, but if you have other plugins 128M or even 256M is recommended.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
