ParticipantSo I made it public, and it says it is public, but I still have red warning triangles next to “Status & Review” and “App Details”.

The answer is in the FAQ – #2.1:
Please let me know if you have any questions.

ParticipantThey will fix it. I have had several issues over the years. It really can’t helped when you are dealing with so many different social sites. They have fixed every one. There was even one occasion when the programer logged into my WP site personally to fix an issue.
Have faith this company has on of the best customer service teams I have seen with WP plugins. They may not answer right away on their forum but it’s better that they fix this issues than give you lip service.
BTW there was just an update where this issue was fixed for me 😉

ParticipantNo, I press the button immediately after entering the page without delay. And the same with the test button in the configuration.
-1 means you have waited too long and your ajax session has expired. Please refresh the page and try again.
May 16, 2014 at 1:34 pm in reply to: Error 200: The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this acti #202958We have great news.
After two weeks of making everyone crazy Facebook backed down on app review requirement. You no longer need to submit your app for review.
Everything (well almost everything) went back to way it was before Apr 30, 2014
The only new requirement from now on is that the facebook App, Facebook profile or page and the user who authorizes the app MUST belong to the same Facebook account.
Please see the Update #7 here for the complete story:
https://www.nextscripts.com/known-issues/facebook-issues/SNAP for WordPress version 3.3.7 is compatible with new requirements. Please update if you have earlier version.
This issue is now closed.
PS: if you still experience the problem, just create a new app and make sure that Facebook App, Facebook profile or page and the user who authorizes the app belong to the same Facebook account

ParticipantHi, I’m having the exact same problem.
I’d submitted my app using precisely the same information given in the tutorial/instructions but it got rejected. The reason sounded very familiar to the previous poster:
“You do not need to request these permissions because your blog or CMS is integrated with an app that you admin. As an App admin, you can already access these permissions and post to your Timeline or a page you admin. You can provide access to additional users by adding them as developers of your App.”For publish actions:
“Web
You have requested excessive permissions based on the usage explanation you provided. Please ensure the information you request is not already available in public_profile information. You can find more information here.”for manage pages:
“Web
You have requested excessive permissions based on the usage explanation you provided. Please ensure the information you request is not already available in public_profile information. You can find more information here.”Does anyone know what else I can do to get permission??
It sounds like a generic machine generated response. Facebook are probably getting so many app requests that they don’t even bother to process them properly.
I’d really love to hear from anyone that’s had some success. This plugin is pretty useless to me without the facebook section.
If your post contain video it will attach it to YouTube post.
