ParticipantSo while I’m twiddling my thumbs waiting for a response, I did some more digging.
I downloaded a copy of the free WordPress plug-in (I’ll point out that I don’t use WordPress, so had no need for it), and low-and-belhold, there’s a file in that called nxs_functions_adv.php which isn’t in the SNAP API Pro zip file, but does define nxs_mkRemOptsArr.
However, the code still doesn’t work and silently fails in the nxsAPI_IG -> connect() function when it tries to call nxs_remote_post().
I can only assume the version of nxs_functions_adv.php in the free plug-in isn’t the same as a file that has been omitted in the SNAP API Pro.

ParticipantOk, the error is “Call to undefined function nxs_remote_get()”, which makes me think this is to do with the nxs-functions.php file not being quite as up to date as nxs-api.php file.

ParticipantOk, now got the API 2.19.0, but trying to post anything to Google+ now fails entirely.
Can’t be sure of the error, since error reporting is off on my main server, but I’ll do some tests on a Dev server to see what it is. My guess, similar to problems I’m having with Instagram, is I have the updated nxs-api.php file, but my zip download doesn’t have the updated nxs-functions.php.

ParticipantI have exactly the same problem. Suddenly it appears, it worked for a while, and for sudden not anymore.

ParticipantI’m only seeing 2.18.17 in mypage download. It seems I have to raise a support ticket to get the updated API every time rather than it being automatic…
Did you ever see a clickable URL anywhere in Instagram?
Instagram just does not support clickable URLs in general. There are links on Instagram.

ParticipantOk, thank you! I’ll be waitng for that!
This error basically means that your image is not ok. Please make sure your posts have images and those images are not broken or corrupted, not protected by some “hot-linking” protection service and valid for Instagram posting. (I.e. not animated gifs, broken, or some weird formats like .bmp, .eps or .tif
Please see the “Image format” section at the end of :
it’s not in the plugin yet, but will be in the next release.

ParticipantCropped square images look quite strange while adding white space abow and below. But how someone could make this kind of post:
https://www.instagram.com/p/BDN84f8ujrD/?taken-by=orangebrained – this image not square. So, should be some way to post original images, isn’t?
Brian
ParticipantThanks!
Yes, upgrading the API resolved the issue for us. I really appreciate the quick turnaround with the fix.
API already does that.
It has been fixed in the version 2.18.18. Your site should get the upgraded code with the next update. You can speed it up by double clicking the word “API” in the version number on the plugin settings page.
