The answer is in the FAQ – #4.10:

ParticipantLoog at this log
What happens is;
– I use the “comic-easel” plugin for WordPress
– With Import comics to this plugin, the plugin imports files with datestrings and set their publishing date accordingly (e.g. a file with name 2014_01_03_Titleoffile.jpg will be published on january 3rd).
– After Import, all posts that have publish date before current time is published to facebook immediately (as long as I don’t limit number of posts)
– all posts that have publish date AFTER current time is not exported/published to facebook.Am i doing something wrong? is there a workaround for me??

ParticipantFound it. However, I still believe there should be a better way to alert us to this potentially major issue.

ParticipantI am getting exactly the same error as the one Kirk posted. Same situation in all aspects. Did you find a solution? Please let me know. thanks. Graziano
API UPDATED – is not an error, just a message that new API was installed.
Please see here for the re-poster issues (including yours): https://www.nextscripts.com/known-issues/auto-reposting-problems/

ParticipantThanks for clarification. I have updated the plugin and it’s working properly. The new version is 3.2.3. However, on the official download page of Nextscript.com, still the version 3.1.2 is available which I downloaded yesterday and stuck up.
Social Networks Auto Poster {SNAP} – Free plugin for WordPress
Kindly update the version on the site also.
Regards
Eklavya
Can you send me a screenshot of your plugin FriendFeed settings?
You can send screenshot to support@nextscripts.com or just paste it to https://snag.gy/ and give me the link to it.
Our plugin posts to all configured social networks at the time post goes live. Technically speaking our plugin is hooked to the event of changing post status from whatever to “Published”. This event is triggered when you hit “Publish” button, when you post on your site from email, when you publish post from your iOS/Android Device, when external plugin correctly published new post, and when scheduled post becomes live.
What is your plugin version? This problem was fixed quite some time ago. Please install the latest version.

ParticipantWell having said that may I request a feature? It would be great if SNAP did not publish to social networks when the “publish” button is pressed, but rather queue itself until the publish date arrives. I tend to write blogs out in advance with a Friday delivery date and it removes some of the automation of SNAP if I have to remember to go back in and manually publish to social networks after the publish date arrives.

ParticipantI have the exact same problem. I am on FREE account as well trying out to see if it’s worth the money (I mean if all options are really working) and since yesterday, this is the second issue I have been hit with.
First issue I faced was, the comments import from Facebook aren’t working. It has been 24+ hours since that ticket and I haven’t heard a thing.
Now, the blogger isn’t connecting even though I have tried 2.1 as suggested above and also I am sure my password information is correct. It just won’t work.
Can anybody help here?
